How can you support us?

Make a donation

Many of the local shops in the town centre have collecting tins in which you can make a donation to the Christmas lights. Our fundraising stall is at various events throughout the year and the volunteers running it are always pleased to receive donations as well. During switch-on day we will have people with collecting tins in the town centre throughout the day.

You can also visit our 'Just Giving' page here and make a donation to our latest appeal

Traders donation or support

If you are a local trader and would like to make a donation or can offer support of any kind please get in touch with us.

We would like to offer a special 'thank-you' to all the local traders who supported the 2014/15 display,

                (details can be found here)

Visit our fundraising stall

The whereabouts of our stall is detailed on the 'forthcoming events' page throughout the year. Here you will find a range of goods & produce, the proceeds of which all go to support Faversham Christmas Lights.

Tombola & Raffle

In the final weeks leading up to switch-on our fundraising stall will be on the Market Place in Faversham. Raffle tickets are always available to purchase from us during November and the top prize in the 2007 draw was £250!

A tombola will be also be run from the stall during switch-on day.

Practical help

We are always seeking volunteers who can give up a little free time to help us in a practical way.

For example;

  • Making produce for the fundraising stall

  • Helping to run the stall

  • Arranging fund-raising events throughout the year

  • Coming and lending a hand for switch-on day - shaking a collecting tin or perhaps you are a local entertainer and could donate an hour or two of your time?

  • Helping erect and dismantle the lights display. It takes over one thousand man-hours each year to do this so anyone who is reasonably fit, and owns a waterproof coat would be welcome. Tea, refreshments and good humour will be provided.

If you would like to support Faversham Christmas Lights in any way please contact us to discuss it further, without commitment on (01795) 539067

Or email favershamchristmaslights
